SR 101 Surviving the First Year of Colelge
This 3-hour workshop provides insider's knowledge of college.
We expose the predominant pitfalls of the first year and impart core
strategies for avoiding these pitfalls. We teach you how to:
• Master the academic system.
• Tackle the daily challenges of student life.
• Hone your study and time management skills.
• Absorb as much as you can in your first year.
The 3 hour workshop is tailored to each student participant. Discussions incorporate examples from the colleges and universities that participants will attend. As part of the registration process, we ask students to send their most pressing questions to Sky Rocket 101. These questions may be general, or they may concern the specific school that the student will attend. Depending on the nature of the question, we provide an answer during the workshop or in a follow up email.
Sky Rocket 101 prepares freshman students for their first year of college. We tailor our services to each individual and lead students to succeed in the particular college environment they have chosen.
